Basketball NZ and Māori Basketball NZ want to work with Iwi to develop more referees. Referees are critical for the Māori Basketball NZ National Tournament to run smoothly. 

Melony O'Connor and Jilly Harris (Māori Basketball NZ Technical Advisor) can come to you anywhere in NZ to run referee courses on your marae or in your community. Iwi only need to provide the venue to run the course.

The course is designed for players, coaches, managers, supporters and parents who want to start referring and could be part of your referee contingent for the Maori Basketball NZ National Championships.
