Each Iwi must provide one person to assist with Court Convening duties on two occasions during the National Māori Tournament.
A schedule will be circulated prior to the tournament and will also be available at the Control Room for sign-up.
Court Convening involves:
All players must be regsitered before their first game on GameDay regardless of whether they are playing the first game or not. No additional names can be added once the first game has started.
A scoresheet may be used if the GameDay systems are down. All players will be cross-checked by the control room following the games where score sheets are used to vefiry player registration.
Teams are responsible for the supply of their own first aid kit.

Match Regulation Table explained

Tied Scores | When scores are tied at the end of regulation time | Teams play to Golden Point or 3 minutes of extra time |
Golden Point | First score wins after a tied game | Use alternating possession arrow for inbound at halfway. Continue shooting at the same goal as final quarter |
Overtime | Extra period after a tied game | 3 minutes of non-stop extra time. Start with a jump ball at halfway. Continue shooting at the same goal as final quarter |
Rolling subs | Substitutes must wait for the on-court player to exit | Players should high-five or slap hands during the exchange |
